We Know Your Struggle...

and we're here to help.

As people with curly/wavy/frizzy hair, society often tells us that it's not enough to be ourselves; that we need to conform to the beauty norm to be "proper".  At Kurlfidence, we believe that people are beautiful the way they are. We have all been called "unkempt", "improper", or "untidy" because of our hair. Our aim by starting Kurlfidence was to show the world that curls are beautiful too, despite any beauty standard, and to inspire confidence into others like we were able to do with ourselves.

Our Team

Krish Bhandari

Founder, President, and Webmaster

Krish comes from a Punjabi family in which he is the only one with curly hair. Throughout his youth, his self-confidence was always a bit behind the straight-haired peers in his family because he was always the "jaanvar" (animal/unkempt one) of the family. However, when he started his curly hair journey, he found a new sense of self-confidence. He wanted to help the world feel the same feeling he did.

Hair Health Consultant, Co Media Manager

I’m Oleksandr (@okussy on IG) and I’m a rising senior. My hair journey has been kinda crazy. I had my hair short for 14 years of my life and then I started to grow it out and I found out I had super wavy hair. Ever since I’ve grown out and cut my hair multiple times and it somehow lost most of the waviness and is mostly straight now. Kinda crazy if you ask me, but as long as your hair is healthy, it doesn’t matter what it looks like and confidence is the key.
